In this video, Kailem Anderson, VP and general manager, Global Products and Delivery at Blue Planet, spoke with us at Mobile World Congress 2024 about how the company is working to support its telco customers on their digital transformation journeys.
Specifically, Anderson said telcos are working on absorbing artificial intelligence (AI) technology into their strategies so they can truly benefit. However, right now, customers are "confused," he said. "They are trying to rationalize what their strategy is and what the vendor community is doing."
Anderson said his message to those confused customers is to focus on the "right technology for the right use case. There's roles for GenAI. There's roles for traditional AI," he said, adding "Let's make sure we're not taking a Ferrari and applying it to the wrong scenario."
