DTW IGNITE, COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – Is it a wireless show? Is it a cloud show? Who knows! But either way we're here with good cheer and ready to bring you all the news from TM Forum's DTW Ignite event in Copenhagen.
Wait, you ask, is Copenhagen the one with the canals? Well, you're probably thinking of Amsterdam, but yes, kind of. The old city center has a canal and that gorgeous old-world charm we Americans go so crazy for. Makes getting lost on your rental bike a lot nicer when you end up in an area like Nyhavn. Not that we, uh, know from experience or anything.

But besides the charm, Copenhagen is also the home of Vikings, LEGOs, licorice and the Little Mermaid. This week in particular it's also home to TM Forum's DTW Ignite event which is...somewhere between a wireless and cloud show...we think. The array of sponsors doesn't really make it clear, but if the event agenda and our meeting lineup is any indication, it's right up our alley.
We expect to hear plenty about 5G (and maybe even 6G!), artificial intelligence (AI), automation, network virtualization, open RAN, and so, so much more. And we won't just be bringing you news from the panel sessions; we've got a jam-packed schedule full of all key executive interviews you'll want to read.
But that all starts today (Tuesday, June 18). Monday was all about taking in the food and views — and lots of sunlight.
