Hey Silverliners, time for curtain call because it’s Oscar weekend so some of our cloud execs are headed to Hollywood to tout their promotions on the red carpet.
Don't be surprised if this week's edition of Cloud career moves, has folks looking a little starstruck. Now without further adieu: lights, camera, action!
David Meltzer, Chief Product Officer, Netography

David Meltzer is Netography’s first chief product officer. In his new role, Meltzer will support product implementation and competitive strategy for the Netography Fusion platform. Because this is his Oscar debut, Meltzer likely spent the last several months practicing his acceptance speech in the mirror, tears and all.
Scott Hofmann, Chief Revenue Officer, GFT

Digital transformation company GFT has appointed Scott Hofmann as chief revenue officer (CRO). The company’s services include migration to open cloud platforms. Hoffman will aid in leveraging U.S. and global initiatives. Hoffman says he’s camera shy but we suspect he’s bluffing because he seems to always spot the paparazzi before they spot him.
Chuck Toussieng, Chief Information Officer, TerraZero Technologies

TerraZero Technologies promoted Chuck Toussieng to chief information officer. Toussieng has over 30 years of experience at TerraZero and will focus on the development, optimization and delivery of metaverse products and services. Toussieng snagged a seat with the Top Gun: Maverick cast this year. How this happened is still unknown.
Brandon F. Johnson and Ryan Kieffer, Co-Chief Operating Officers, TerraZero Technologies

Brandon F. Johnson and Ryan Kieffer will serve as co-chief operating officers for TerraZero Technologies.

The duo will expand the company’s vision for the future of Metaverse, Web3 and the internet at large. Head’s up — these two most likely have the best DJ at the Oscar after party.
Tobias Jaenchen, VP of Sales, Americas and APAC, Paessler AG

Tobias Jaenchen will serve as Paessler AG’s vice president of sales for both the Americas and Asia-Pacific (APAC). In this role, Jaenchen will assist in developing areas such as Paessler’s sales strategy, organization and processes. Jaenchen is famous for his Oscar-worthy tuxedos, and is secretly the brains behind Academy Awards: Fashion Police.
David Wyatt, Chief Revenue Officer, Aiven

Aiven, an open source cloud data platform company, had named David Wyatt as CRO. The tech veteran will focus on optimizing the company’s go-to-market strategy. A pro-tip for Wyatt’s infamously long Oscar speeches: grab some popcorn — the “wrap it up” music doesn't seem to work.
*Ed. Note: Midjourney, an AI art tool, manipulates original headshots so they kind-of-sort-of-maybe look the like real person but in many cases, not really at all.
