Bringing Open RAN Indoors

ET
60 Minutes

Boosting 5G, Shrinking Space and Power

Open RAN is rapidly evolving in macro networks worldwide, but what about its potential for in-building 5G solutions like distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells?

  • Hear how operators and CIOs like Kevin Pope, who oversees IT operations for AMBSE, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz Stadium (serving more than 3M fans), the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United, are taking advantage of indoor Open RAN.

  • Learn how they’re using indoor O-RAN to enhance 5G performance and reliability for their customers but also to introduce novel deployment models that optimize space and power consumption, paving the way for a more sustainable network infrastructure and new business opportunities.

  • Hear how enterprises across sectors -- from airports and hotels to enterprises of all sizes – are working with operators to leverage Open RAN to drive financial savings and environmental benefits while reshaping the landscape of indoor connectivity.
