In this video, TJ Fox, SVP of IoT and automotive at Verizon Business, told Fierce about the company's connected car and private 5G partnerships with Audi and AFEELA.
Fox said that while Verizon Business has talked about connected vehicles for many years, now is an exciting time for the sector due to the advent of technology that will make vehicles the "ultimate mobile device."
At Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Verizon Business announced partnerships with Audi and AFEELA, the EV from Sony Honda Mobility.
"We've had a longtime partnership with Audi. Just about two years ago, we announced that Audi would be putting our 5G modules in their vehicles United States. They'll be coming out this year," said Fox.
