Each February, the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) hosts the annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, which covers some of the most in-demand and diverse fields that provide students with the academic, technical, and employability skills necessary to thrive in the workplace.
In honor of the CTE Month, Edmentum is sharing with educators a collection of its best CTE resources to set them and their students up for success as they plan their school’s program. Edmentum’s free CTE program planning resources include:
Career and Technical Education: Designing a Successful Program: This informational booklet includes a range of CTE topics that span introductory to advanced. It takes a deep dive into the components of an evolving and improving CTE program to help hone in on a map for improvement and professional development.
CTE Workbook Worksheet: This worksheet booklet provides example four- and six-year plans, as well as blank templates to help you get started planning. Use this worksheet to identify an endorsement for a student, if applicable, or end goal for after graduation, while clearly understanding and identifying a path for each student.
No matter what stage of development or implementation you’re at with your program, Edmentum wants to make sure you have the resources you need to understand and communicate both the breadth and depth of your CTE goals. Learn more about how Edmentum’s CTE courses can help to support college and career success.
