CyrusOne announced five new on-ramps to Google Cloud in order to provision direct connectivity for hybrid cloud deployments.
The new on-ramps to Google Cloud are in Aurora, Illinois, Austin, Huston and San Antonio, Texas and in the newly operational Council Bluffs, Nebraska facility. As part of Google Cloud Interconnect, the new direct on-ramps provide CyrusOne customers with a full slate of Google Cloud solutions in order to create hybrid cloud environments for their specific business needs
CyrusOne customers can tap into Google Cloud's portfolio and compute capacity, and test new workloads in the cloud while keeping their on premise workloads with CyrusOne. CyrusOne is the third-largest U.S. data center provider.
With the onset of Covid-19 earlier this year, enterprises and organizations of all stripes have accelerated their digital transformations by moving more workloads and applications to hybrid clouds.
By working with Google Cloud, CyrusOne's customers can access low latency, high performance cloud solutions that can scale bandwidth on demand as needed for the applications.
