Frontier Communications union workers represented by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) voted to approve their CT and CCI bargaining unit agreements. The new agreements will expire on Nov. 30, 2020.
Frontier workers in New Holland, Pennsylvania, are now represented by the CWA. Bargaining their first contract will begin soon.

Also, Frontier and the CWA in West Virginia under Local 142 recently extended their labor contract for three months as negotiations continue. The contract will now expire on Nov. 4, 2017.
In West Virginia, Frontier Communications members are represented by CWA Locals 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2276. Members in Ashburn, Virginia, are represented by CWA Local 2222.
As with other agreements the CWA has worked on with Frontier, union workers have cited employment security and keeping good jobs in hometown communities as their key priorities.
Before completing its acquisition of Verizon’s assets in Texas, California and Florida, Frontier reached a key labor agreement with the CWA District 6, covering workers in Texas and Missouri in 2015.
