GTT has created three new divisions—enterprise, carrier and EMEA—in an effort it says will accelerate sales growth and give it more of a hands-on focused approach that allows it to craft solutions for each customer type.
Each of the three divisions will oversee the primary customer experience functions: sales, quoting, ordering, service delivery and collections. These divisions will be managed by three division presidents.

Eric Warren will head up GTT’s Enterprise division, including all enterprise clients in the Americas and U.S. government clients. Warren recently joined GTT, following serving in senior executive roles at Windstream and TW telecom.
Jeff Beer will lead the Carrier division, including all carrier accounts in the Americas, as well as GTT’s largest web-centric clients. For the last 8 years, Beer has held a variety of executive roles at GTT since joining the company through the acquisition of Tinet.
Martin Ford leads the EMEA division, including enterprise clients in EMEA and carrier clients in EMEA and APAC. Ford joined GTT’s leadership team through the acquisition of Hibernia Networks following an extended tenure with Level 3.
Additionally, GTT’s chief revenue officer, Layne Levine, has left the company to pursue other opportunities. GTT did not reveal a replacement for Levine.
This new organization means that GTT can better capitalize on extending its service set across growing network facilities it gained via its acquisition of Hibernia. The carrier and EMEA leaders will be able to potentially target customers with its optical transport service that have higher bandwidth needs along the Hibernia cabling routes.
At the same time, the new Enterprise chief will likely be able to play up new services like GTT’s SD-WAN product line that combines application visibility and a diverse set of network access facilities to accommodate multiple customer locations.
