In order to help mobile and fixed service providers streamline their complex operations, Infovista announced a new digital twin platform.
Infovista's VistaInsight Avatar creates a digital avatar of physical assets across the network, processes and systems, enabling service providers to manage the digital infrastructure in a simpler, more agile fashion.
In use across other industries, digital twin refers to a digital replica of potential and actual physical assets, processes, people, places, systems and devices that can be used for various tasks. Infovista's new Digital Twin Unified Service Assurance framework for mobile and fixed communications service providers streamlines operations across both legacy and next generation technologies, such as 5G, LTE, SD-WAN and network functions virtualization (NFV.)
VistaInsight Avatar offers a single-pane-of-glass view across radio access networks (RAN), as well as core and IP network and service operations to manage digital infrastructures, which Infovista said not only improves performance, but also optimizes capex.
It uses advanced analytics and machine learning across all customers, services and network elements within a closed-loop service assurance ecosystem to provide inventory, configuration, performance and service management.
