Sprint is putting the finishing touches on a custom network for KM2 Solutions, which is a nearshore outsourcing company based in the U.S.
Using Sprint's wireline network, the network for KM2 Solutions will provide connectivity from customer centers in Latin America and the Caribbean to two of Sprint's U.S.-based data centers. The network is slated to go live this month.
Sprint's team worked with KM2 Solutions and network management consultants DLB and Nationwide, LLC, to design a custom solution to provide ongoing monitoring, performance management and network stability.

With the new network, KM2 will be able to continuously manage its customer centers through a variety of service-focused services and applications such as email, chat, text messaging, faxing and phone. KM2 can use Sprint's network as a one-stop shop for all of its business communication needs.
Network connectivity will be available across Honduras, Colombia, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, Barbados and Grenada.
Network solutions like the one Sprint is providing KM2 are especially important during severe storms in the Caribbean, and as a means to replace legacy network infrastructures with better connectivity.
KM2 employs more than 4,000 people who support U.S. businesses across various industries including finance, healthcare and e-commerce.
