ZTE released a super gigabit Wi-Fi home gateway that supports 802.11ax dual-band Wi-Fi technology. ZTE’s new router, the ZXHN F2867S, supports the AX6000 Wi-Fi protocol that is compatible with 802.11n and 802.11ac.
The router provides super gigabit access via the XGS-PON interface and supports 4x4 MIMO at 2.4 GHz and 4x4 MIMO at 5 GHz, which is capable of delivering speeds up to 6 Gbps. ZXHN F2867S also supports USB 3.0, which can be used for a storage device or wireless dongle, according to ZTE.
The Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer says the router boasts more stable and precise coverage because it supports beamforming technology, which improves transmission performance. ZTE did not provide any details about pricing or availability.
